The ICMR operates on the principle of collaborative research among like-minded industrial and academic peers. Together, the two communities design, develop, test and implement solutions to key manufacturing challenges identified by the industrial partners. By enabling this working partnership from the outset, the ICMR ensures that the research effort is directed at the highest impact opportunities. The resulting solution is exactly what the customer requires because the industrial partners have been involved in its creation at all stages of the process.
