Education: She was awarded her Ph.D. from the University of Limerick; her research was at the interface of organisational behaviour and human resource development. She was awarded a US Academy of Human Resource Development finalist award for her dissertation. She was awarded the Government of Ireland Research Scholarship and the University of Limerick Registrar’s scholarship for her PhD.

Previously, Claire was a Senior Research Fellow at the Enterprise Research Centre, University of Limerick working in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin on the ICMR project on Training and Training Information Support. She was a Lecturer in Management and HRM at University College Cork and a Lecturer of HRD and Organisational Behaviour with Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick. She is an experienced Consultant and Trainer to a range of industries in such areas as management assessment and development centres, human factor skills, auditing training, training design, delivery and programme evaluation through to ROI. Claire’s current research interests are in the areas of tacit knowledge sharing, social networks, trust and professional development.
